A new film about women in Ukraine working in organic farming.

Women make up 54% of Ukraine's population and 47% of the country's labour force. More than 60% of all Ukrainian women have a university education and many areas of social life can currently only be maintained through their efforts. This also applies to organic farming and food security.

In impressive images, the 8-minute film introduces several women who work in organic farming in Ukraine. Women from several parts of Ukraine. Women who, from their perspective, provide deep insights into the achievements and challenges of the organic sector in Ukraine under the current conditions of war. Strong women who give a lot of courage.

The film was shown for the first time on 13 February as part of the event "At the front line - women in Ukraine are changing the world" at the world's leading trade fair for organic products "Biofach". SvoeKino, a film company from Ukraine, produced this impressive film directly in Ukraine in January 2024 on behalf of the project "German-Ukrainian Cooperation in Organic Agriculture".

The film can be found at this link: At the frontline

It is the third film that the project has had produced since the beginning of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine.
