On Thursday, April 13, 2023, a delegation from Ukraine learned about the work of IFOAM (International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements) in Brussels.

Eduardo Cuoco, Director of IFOAM Europe, and Kataryna Shor, Ukrainian representative at IFOAM, informed in particular about the political work of IFOAM in the discussion of many new laws and regulations with representatives of the European Commission and the European Parliament.

The conversation was facilitated by the "German-Ukrainian Cooperation in Organic Agriculture (COA)" headed by Dr. Stefan Dreesmann as part of a delegation trip organized by the "German-Ukrainian Agricultural Policy Dialogue (APD)". The motto of the tour was "Potentials for sustainable agricultural and rural development in Ukraine in the context of European integration". The delegation included representatives of the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the professional associations of the Ukrainian National Agricultural Forum (UNAF), the Union of Territorial Municipalities, the two German projects, as well as independent experts on EU integration and international agricultural trade.
