On January 22, 2021, another meeting was held of the Organic Working Group, that has been established by the Ministry of Economic Development, Trade and Agriculture (MDETA) to address issues related to Ukrainian organic legislation.

In addition to official representatives, this body includes experts from Ukrainian organic farming associations, international donor projects, a national organic inspection body, and legal advisors from MDETA. For COA, long-term expert Oleksandr Kaliberda regularly participates in these meetings, which since last year can only be held online. Currently, issues concerning the regulation of the use of inputs in organic farming were discussed, especially with regard to their practical application. The proposals of the participants are indicative for the planned revision of the already adopted regulation, which will bring several improvements.
