With the support of the project  „German-Ukrainian Cooperation in Organic Agriculture (COA)”, Farm Shiva Semlya Potutory GmbH  has held an online course on the production of biodynamic preparations on 18 April 2021.

The aim of this course was to teach practice and theory for the production of biodynamic preparations to the practitioners. The practical part of the course has included digging up and processing of the biodynamic preparations that were buried in the ground in the autumn. A didactic video on this topic was published last spring, with the support of the COA project:

This year, the organizers wanted to show the production of the two biodynamic preparations - yarrow and tree-paste.  Because it was again not possible for the participants to be personally present in the region due to the COVID restrictions, the organizers have recorded two short videos - with the help of Wasyl Chuba (biodynamic practitioner), which are intended as a supplement to the already available video.

In addition to the two new short videos and the longer video about the biodynamic preparations, the organizers have also invited Wasyl Chuba (biodynamic practitioner), Eugen Milovanov (Organic Federation of Ukraine) and Olena Shaporenko (organic marketing specialist) to answer questions

The opportunity for questions and discussions was taken lively by the participants, which shows that  this online course has been met with big interest.

The participants expressed their satisfaction with this event because they could exchange ideas, at least in this online format. The various contributions were judged to be interesting and instructive. It was also stressed how important it is to talk about the practice of organic agriculture, quality of organic products and the marketing of organic products.
