The official opening took place on September 03, 2024 at the University’s Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. It started by the welcoming speeches from Prof. Dr. Tkachuk Vadym, Rector of the University, Prof. Dr. Mykola Tsvilikhovskyi, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and Dr. Stefan Dreesmann, Project Leader of the project “German-Ukrainian Cooperation in Organic Agriculture”.

The new center represents a significant step forward in the promotion of sustainable agricultural practices among students and aims to support the organic farming in Ukraine. Modern digital equipment combined with the growing library and information materials on the organic topic make it a dedicated training and lecture space for the students of the University to facilitate the interest in organic agriculture and pass better practices for future professionals.

This facility was established and equipped through the support of the “German-Ukrainian Cooperation in Organic Agriculture”. The project is funded by the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture, Germany.
